De-Matting Services
Matting is taken very seriously with the utmost care and compassion for your pet. Priority will always lie in ensuring the least amount of discomfort and a fear-free environment is provided. Below are additional fees that may be added onto a service when needed. As well as an additional fee, pet parents will also be required to sign a DEMATTING AGREEMENT form. When it is deemed safe to demat through non-shaving methods, such as brushing and use of other pet safe tools, this method is used to preserve length of the coat. May take longer than other dematting methods.
With the approval of the pet parent, only small to medium sized matting will be removed. Doing so may create uneven spots in the pet's coat. This is an inbetween to preserve as much coat as possible with little to no discomfort to the pet.
This is for 75% to 100% of matting on the pet's body. It will be chosen as the safest for extreme matting. Length used may vary based to how close to the skin the matting is.
